Mahjong 102 | Let's Try That Again, Shall We?

You've taken Mahjong 101, but you're still wrapping your head around the dang Charleston, who's who, what's what, and which tile is the “0” in 2026. Sound familiar? You're in exactly the right place.

Join The Club Room for Mahjong 102—the baby-step bridge between learning the rules and actually feeling like you know what you're doing. We'll revisit the NMJL card, practice the Charleston, sort out those pesky tiles, and play through a game together—with plenty of guidance, questions, and aha! moments along the way. No need to have it all figured out. That's rather the point.

Prerequisite: Mahjong 101 or a basic introduction to American Mahjong. We'll provide the tiles and all the encouragement you need. Please bring your NMJL card.

Refreshments and light bites will be served.

OPEN PLAY: We love you and want you to come have a mahj magic moment, too. Open play tables are for those who are independent mahjong player.
